8ft Rainscreen Siding, MOSO Bamboo Thermo Rainscreen Siding is a solid, High Density thermally modified exterior bamboo board, made from compressed bamboo strips. A unique heat treatment/compression process provides Bamboo Thermo with the highest durability class possible in the appropriate EU norms, increases the stability and density, and consequently the hardness. This makes it suitable for very demanding applications. Bamboo is the fastest growing plant on this planet and is an abundantly available building material. Almost all solid MOSO Bamboo Products have a negative carbon footprint during the product lifespan and are therefore the sustainable alternative to non-renewable materials and scarce tropical hardwood.

They are easy to install (vertically or horizontally) using our clip system and withstand temperature changes with hardly any shrinking and swelling. Because of their high stability, boards stay flat and in place unlike other natural materials. The original characteristics of the material rival the best hardwoods. Just like all hardwoods, bamboo weather to grey over time, creating an attractive natural look. You may also clean and apply Messmer's Bamboo Oil to maintain a rich, chocolate color.
